Eligibility & Selection
Head Start, EHS and GSRP are child development programs for low-income families.
Eligibility selection is based on a point system. Children are placed according to the points received.
Points are based on age, income, parental status, family situation, special needs and other factors.
Application
To start the enrollment process, complete this online Enrollment Application or call the main office at (989) 752-2193, ext. 2235 and schedule an
appointment. During the appointment, a staff member will assist you in filling out the necessary
paperwork.
The following items are required when the application is taken:
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of income for the past thirty days (Pay stubs, SSI, and/or DHS Statements, W-2)
- Current Immunizations
- Proof of Medical Insurance
- WIC verification (If currently enrolled)
- Proof of Residency (Driver’s license or Utility bill)
